back to the bronx

Yesterday I went back to the New York Botanical Garden with two of my friends. It was a spectacular sunny day: we spent some quality time with the orchids and then wandered over to the forest to see if we could catch a glimpse of the owl. And we did - it was far away and high up in a tree so we really needed binoculars...  A gentleman shared his sunflower seeds with us and we shared them with the chickadees - too cute!
